9th Hong Kong Kids International Film Festival
2025 - As a long-term charity partner of KIFF, Children of Light supports its mission to inspire young audiences and promote children’s cinema. We believe in the power of film—not only to entertain, but to raise awareness of social issues and connect people through stories that spark empathy and change.
Summer Fever – Charity Concert
2025 - As the beneficiary organization, Children of Light was honored to be part of Summer Fever, a charity concert featuring singers, emerging artists, and local dance groups. The event celebrated local culture while raising funds to provide assistance and resources for children with special educational needs (SEN).
It’s About Time – Charity Concert
2025 - We produced the charity concert It’s About Time both as organizers and as the beneficiary, raising funds to support Children of Light’s mission of fostering collaboration and amplifying social impact.
Charity Screening of The Last Dance
2024 - As the event organizer, we hosted a special charity screening of The Last Dance (破地獄) to raise funds for Children of Light. After the screening, the director and cast joined the audience for a post-film sharing session.
Supporting Families in Need – General Donation
2023 - We made a general donation to ChickenSoup Foundation, supporting their work with families in crisis. Through this, we extended our reach to vulnerable households in Hong Kong, ensuring timely help and care reached those most in need.
A Mother’s Strength – Family Support
2024 - We supported a resilient mother of three who lost her husband in a tragic traffic accident on their youngest son’s birthday. Left to care for her children aged 1, 3, and 5, she faced immense challenges. With assistance, this courageous family is slowly rebuilding their lives, finding strength and hope for a brighter future.
The Most Beautiful Sight – Short Film on High-Functioning Autism
2021 - We produced The Most Beautiful Sight, a short film on high-functioning autism, which was screened at the Hong Kong Kids International Film Festival. The film challenged stereotypes and highlighted the strengths and talents of people with autism, raising public awareness and understanding.
3rd Hong Kong Kids International Film Festival
2019- Children of Light sponsored film screenings tailored for students with special educational needs (SEN), creating accessible and inclusive cinema experiences. Recognizing that cinema environments—loud noises, darkness, and sensory overload—can be overwhelming or frightening for SEN children, we supported sensory-friendly screenings with adjusted lighting, reduced sound levels, and a welcoming atmosphere. These adaptations ensured that the joy of cinema was inclusive, allowing SEN students to engage comfortably and meaningfully with storytelling through film.
